The DAT Top Three – Heavy Metal Bands with Two Guitarists

The DAT Top Three – Heavy Metal Bands with Two Guitarists

Nothing is more f*cking metal than the dual axe attack. Some of the most prolific bands in the world have had two guitar slingers. In addition to filling out the brutal, heavy, sonic spectrum, a second guitarist anchors the riff along with the bass guitarist so the lead can rip your face off with a blistering solo. Let’s take a closer look at my top three heavy metal bands with two guitarists.

Dark Arts Theater 1.6 – Zombie!

May 4, 2015 by J. Thorn 2 Comments

1.6 – Zombie! –
Dark Arts Theater is proud to introduce, musician (Threefold Law) and narrator Angus Khan. Listen to Angus deliver an incredible reading of my zombie short story “Tunnel.” David Wright (Yesterday’s Gone, Crash) returns to discuss the eternal question: Slow zombies or fast zombies? We acknowledge our true feelings about Brad Pitt while debating the best method for ordering a pizza during a zombie apocalypse. Zach Bohannon (Empty Bodies, The Witness) joins the ride to talk about arguably one of the best heavy metal records of all time, Megadeth’s Rust in Peace. Crank it up as Karma to Burn (courtesy of FABA/Deepdive Records) fires up the riffs throughout the issue.
